Job Purpose

The Graphic and Multimedia Designer will create and deliver high-quality visual and multimedia content to support digital marketing campaigns and software platforms, particularly within the restaurant and payment technology sector.

This is a genuine vacancy requiring a skilled professional with relevant industry experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal teams and clients to understand design briefs, objectives, and technical requirements.

• Design and produce visual content including menus, advertisements, social media graphics, and branding materials.

• Create multimedia outputs such as animations, promotional videos, and motion graphics.

• Develop UI elements and mock-ups for websites, mobile apps, and online ordering systems.

• Prepare design concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes for client approval.

• Integrate visual elements into EPOS systems, ordering platforms, and payment interfaces.

• Apply knowledge of payment systems and user journeys to improve checkout experience and customer engagement.

• Work collaboratively with developers and marketing teams to ensure consistency and usability.

• Manage multiple projects, ensuring delivery within deadlines and quality standards.

• Maintain brand consistency and follow accessibility and digital design best practices.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Graphic and Multimedia Designer or similar role.

• Experience working in a similar industry (EPOS, restaurant marketing, or digital agency).

• Strong portfolio demonstrating design and multimedia work.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).

• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, and branding.

• Understanding of the payment industry, including online payments, EPOS systems, and checkout processes.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Desirable Requirements

• UI/UX design experience (Figma, Adobe XD).

• Experience designing for web and mobile platforms.

• Knowledge of UK South Asian restaurant market.

• Multilingual skills (Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil).

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field;
  or equivalent professional experience.

Working Hours

• Minimum 37.5 hours per week

• Full-time permanent role

• Additional hours may be required based on project deadlines

Salary

• Salary will be:

  • Above National Minimum Wage

  • The role meets RQF Level 3+ skill requirement
